Technical Advisor

Job Description

Technical Advisor should be Mechanical Engineer and /or holder of Masters of Mining, and a specialist in mining infrastructure, and should have a proven experience in surface mining delivering projects. He or she should be able and specialize in engineering support for mining infrastructure projects which should include but not limited to mine dewatering, vertical development, open cast and deep cast mining services, site establishment and complete mining operations. Advise the Board of Directors on the mining operations. He should be solid in understanding of open pit mining practices and equipment capabilities, Drilling and Blasting experience, oversee the mining operating teams ensuring efficient mining operations.

Ensure that mining production targets, schedules and priorities for the mining teams are safely achieved; mining planning, organize and control mining activities, to manage all opencast production (drill & blast); conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to Board of Directors.
